Thunderbird Lodge

The Thunderbird Lodge is conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge in the heart of the Grand Canyon Historic District. This contemporary lodge is located on the canyon rim. All of the rooms are ideally suited for families. These rooms have two queen beds, television and telephone. The lodge has rooms designed for quests with physical disabilities. The lodge offers easy walking access to the dining facilities at either El Tovar or Bright Angel Lodge. Check in for a Thunderbird Lodge guest is at the Bright Angel Lodge. The lodge is central to the Grand Canyon's Native American artistry, shopping, views and colors that will take your breath away. (All rooms at the canyon are non smoking.)

Street Side Rooms: 1 - 2 adults $230 per night; three adults $242 per night; $254 for four adults per night
Canyon Side Rooms: 1 - 2 adults $243 per night; three adults $255 per night; $267 for four adults per night
Children 15 years and under are free.

Reservation Information: All no-shows as well as cancellations less than 4 days prior to arrival will be charged with the room charge times the number of nights reserved. There are no refunds for early departures.

Cancellation Policy: A $35 administration fee will be charged for all cancellations from the time of booking to five days prior to the check in date. All cancellations inside of four days of the check in date will be charged for all the room nights that were reserved for you. A no show will be charged for ALL the nights reserved - no refunds. Those departing early will not be refunded for any unused nights.

These tours are only offered at a low price of $19.00 per person with a room reservation. Children 16 years old and younger are free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult. To reserve the tour come back to this page and click on the link above to the order tour page. These tours will not be offered at this low price at the Grand Canyon.
