This tour is definitely a customer favorite. Enjoy a bird’s eye view as you depart the Las Vegas Strip on this exciting flight to the Grand Canyon.
Along the way take in the Las Vegas Valley and local landmarks. As part of this exhilarating air tour you will fly over Hoover Dam. This man-made engineering wonder cannot be fully appreciated until you see it from the air as well as Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake West of the Mississippi. Your pilot will point out Fortification Hill “an extinct volcano” and Temple Rock, a unique formation on the shoreline of Lake Mead.
Before you know it the Grand Canyon opens up before you. One of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World” the Grand Canyon will not disappoint. After flying miles into the canyon the helicopter will land approximately 3500 feet below the rim. And since you are doing it from Las Vegas, it will be done in “Vegas Style” as champagne (or other beverages) and light snacks will be served 300 feet above the Colorado River.
On the return flight you will see the red rock formations of the Bowl of Fire with your flight adventure taking you over Downtown Las Vegas and the Strip. Your flight will provide you with many great aerial views of the natural and modern wonders including the world famous Las Vegas Strip.
